Was just wondering how you organise your books, whether its on your book cases, shelves, floor etc lol.
Do you do them by colour, author, size, hardback together and paperback together...you know what I mean :-)
Me personally I do them by author as much as I can, I also have to put them in the order they came out or if its part of a series I put them in the order they should be :-)

I have a bookcase  I love reorganising my bookshelf so I like to change it up a lot! At the moment my books are organised by colour! ✨ |

I try and do them by author or at least keep books in the same series together. My Harry Potter books are together for example. I quite like to colour scheme them too as much as possible. I like black/dark books together and lighter ones together. Then I try and keep the same height books together. Oh my life there's no rhyme or reason to my organising is there?
I have such an awkward bookshelf most of my hardbacks won't stand upright - too tall so I have to lie those flat! :/
Then of course yes there's the books on my floor, stacked on the little shelf under my dressing table (don't ask) and just everywhere really! In bags, in boxes, just piled around my room! Haha

I love reorganizing my bookshelves! I do it every two weeks and I love it. Atm it's organized by favourites with all my TBR books on my bottom shelves.

I try to go by theme...but they sometimes overlap so it doesn't always work! So I have my paranormal romance/urban fantasy together, Neil Gaiman goes next to my friend TA Moore's books because she interviewed Gaiman, and got me a signed book (I have an odd theming system!) I also try to put proofs together, but that only really works of they aren't part of a series of by an author in another 'theme' my LGBT books are next to my cult books cos some cross over, but then many cross over with my YA books...then it all becomes moot because space is a premium so it all becomes about the space! I am such a cluttered hoarder lol! My current shelving system includes many floor piles.

Mine are tucked away at the top of my wardrobe at the moment! I'm in desperate need of a book case, as they're piling up and there's no room left for them and this makes me sad.  They're organised by author, I tried colour as well but it failed. I love reorganising my books, I spend aaages on them, it's a great and lame way to pass time but that's alright with me. |
